People are addicted to many things. We depend on air, food, water, as well as on loved ones, bad habits and, most of all, on our own thoughts. It is thoughts that are our heaviest burden, from which it is sometimes completely impossible to get rid of. So what is it like to be addicted? What does the world look like through the eyes of a person who is dependent on those around him? This cycle of poems was written with only one purpose - to tell how the author himself sees the world through the eyes of a dependent person. These verses do not call for specific actions or impose a lifestyle. They only show all the ins and outs of the poet’s soul, open to the reader in these lines.
