A Moscow major, a slacker and a representative of the so-called “golden youth” - the son of a rich Moscow official, accidentally meets a mysterious beggar named Luka, with whom he ends up in the same cell at the police station, where he ends up for fighting. Listening to the empty chatter of a half-crazy man, he suddenly realizes that in the person of this beggar he has encountered something mystical, fatal - with universal evil, and this meeting will change his whole life... He does not know how to evaluate Luke’s words, whether to recognize him as crazy, or to believe him, but subsequent events show that the beggar is actually who he says he is. Mystical creatures who call themselves saints influence the destinies of people in every possible way, creating opportunities and coincidences, as a result of which a person’s life changes. Or maybe they are actually saints, who after death are left in our world to fight evil.
