For several centuries, the most intriguing ancient Russian manuscript of the mystical order of the Kenergians, Le livre fatal, transmits the Seven Secrets from teachers to students, starting with the mystery of uniqueness and the mystery of loneliness. The young scientist Bert Renes from Amsterdam is among the initiates , seeking to unravel the tangle of secrets of an ancient mystical order, the mysteries of the teachings of the book and the long path of the book through the hands of people far from mysticism: a semi-literate peasant guy, a fisherman’s daughter, a security officer-bookworm, a woman tormented by misfortunes, an enthusiastic Moscow student... The “Kenergy chain” stretching from the past to the present, in order to convey to us along the relay some important “revelation” - to reveal to us the “secrets of life”, illusoryly breaks off, is distorted and with each new step draws the reader into the mystical cycle of thoughts and events that ignite the “white fire”...

The novel tells about the mysterious fate of the manuscript “Revelation of Fire”, in which Christian and Buddhist mysticism are surprisingly intertwined.
