Vavilov, published in 1968 in the ZhZL series of the Molodaya Gvardiya publishing house in a heavily abridged form by Soviet censorship. Over the past half century, Semyon Reznik has constantly kept his finger on the pulse of Babylonian studies, returning again and again to his first hero. The new book is the most complete (to date) and multifaceted narrative about the short life of Nikolai Vavilov. The action develops against the backdrop of the turbulent events of a violent era.
