And I was shocked by what I understood. All this time he communicated with a man who, the further he went, the more of a mystery he became. He arrogantly believed that he was a good judge of people. And here he was at a loss. But then an insight came to him, and he began to dig up information about such people. In Russia, we don’t do them, practically. And they are designed in such a way that the closer you get to them, the more mental trauma you receive. At the same time, these people attract others to themselves, simply with terrible force. And it is very difficult for them to refuse if they need something. He understood more and more that a relationship with such a person is a game for that person, a game without rules and with only one goal. That is, you are everything to him, and he is nothing to you. Then he realized in retrospect that this was not the first such person in his life. That he has the ability to seem to attract people like him. And that before he was at a loss similar to that in which the parents or spouses of such people have been for many years. And also, for a very long time he believed that it was all about him, that it was his fault. Even after ceasing contact with the person, he felt a burden of responsibility: did he do the right thing?
