The story about how the poet sang a song, he fantasized, and he was accused of lying. The priest defended the poet, he argued that poetry has the right to do so. And moreover, the priests canonized the song, they convinced the people that what was sung was true, or at least would be so. And the poet was found dead, with a priest’s knife sticking out between his shoulder blades.
