During his visit to Bulgaria, Englishman John Wright interested the Bulgarian state security in his person. I got interested because I tried to establish contact with some local citizens, conveying greetings from student defector Mikhail Milev. The citizens turned out to be conscientious and did not succumb to provocation. Wright returned to England, but two Bulgarian intelligence officers, Borislav and Emil Boev, were already on his tail. Watching Wright in London brought almost no fruit, and when Borislav, who basically “led” Wright, tried to attract attention to himself, he almost ran into a bullet. The scouts barely made it to Bulgaria. Only one thing became clear: the environment in which Wright moved was more criminal than espionage. But this is also a reason for concern for the Bulgarian state security - what good can Bulgarians expect from English criminality? Maybe this is just a cover for a secret war? The operation is ongoing. Emil Boev, disguised as a Bulgarian sailor who has fallen behind his ship, finds himself in the thick of London's criminal world.
