Through Venezuela, along the coasts of Orinoco and Caroni, past the majestic Tepuis and through the endless Great Savannah, past the camps of prospectors searching for gold and diamonds, to the islands of Santo Domingo and Puerto Rico, then to the foothills of the Andes in search of the mysterious “Valley” Pyramids" and into the jungles of Ecuador, along the coast of Napo, and, finally, the Galapagos Archipelago, one of the most interesting and mysterious places on the globe, distant and little-studied islands, nicknamed the "Enchanted Islands."
