Chasing Morning, the first in a series of novels about the adventures and transformation of Stephen Fisher, takes place in modern England and the mysterious Hispaniola - home of the bloody voodoo cult of Don Pedro. This is an example of “smart” fantasy, where the author’s solid intellectual and moral baggage is by no means a burden, but comes in handy for the main character in his travels through time and space.
