Poetesses are even more dangerous than poets. Passionate women, giving away their words and feelings, perhaps living several love stories at the same time... Poems of Russian poetesses are addressed to men, women, and often to fictional characters. Nevertheless, it is personal experiences that are most reflected not even in the words themselves, but in the rhythm, music, even pauses of a poetic work. A monologue with oneself, a gentle conversation, passionate confessions, hatred, indignation, even hysteria - every movement of the soul... Often their hidden desires, hopes and dreams are embodied in the lines, and not in real life...
