Description of the book A book from leading Russian psychologists that will help a teenager stop worrying, believe in himself and find his superpower - inner support in any situation.
When you get older, many new questions appear in your head. Why do I experience so many different emotions, sometimes almost simultaneously? Is it necessary to grow up at all? And at what point will I stop being a child? Why has it become so difficult with your parents? How to finally feel confident in yourself?
Such a barrage of questions can confuse anyone. In addition, each of us is individual, and it is impossible to grow up correctly. The authors of this book - psychologists Ekaterina Murashova and Victoria Shimanskaya - will help you find the answers that are right for you.
You will learn to understand the storm of your emotions and direct them in the right direction. You will understand why everything is changing so much and how it will change again. You’ll figure out what you shouldn’t worry about and what it’s better to tell your parents about. And you will learn exercises and life hacks that will make your life easier.
From the authors
Ekaterina Murashova
By my first education I am a biologist, by my second I am a psychologist. For many years now I have been working with teenagers and their parents, writing books and blogging about parent-child relationships and developmental psychology. Keep in mind: I grew up in a completely different world, without gadgets and the Unified State Exam, but with a yard, playing with knives and homemade rollers. My experience will help you understand your parents a little better - and maybe make sure that teenagers are approximately the same at all times.
In this book they will call me the Wise Psychologist. My position will not always be pleasant for you - but it will definitely be useful.
Victoria Shimanskaya
I am also a psychologist, I have been working with teenagers for more than 15 years, but my work is more like coaching: I I teach children of different ages to cope with complex tasks more easily. And do you know why? At the expense of their own feelings. Emotions are not just clenched fists and burning cheeks, not just another scandal with your parents or a note in your diary. It is also a colossal source of energy, which, if desired, can be used for your own benefit. This is what I teach – emotional intelligence.
I am for a supportive approach and for making it difficult, but interesting. In the book they will call me the Cheerful Practitioner.
Who is the book for
For all parents who want to help a teenager get through emotionally difficult years.
