Many people have been waiting for this book, although there is always the opportunity to read individual poems in the public domain online. The e-book contains about 230 poems and 6 photographs. The book was prepared with the permission of the author. In Anna Rubinstein’s texts one can feel a very careful attitude towards the Russian language, there is never any meaningless play with words and sounds (play for the sake of play itself), there is always that same “message” that the author conveys elegantly and unordinarily. Oh, believe me, this doesn't happen that often. Without shocking and pathos, without prohibited techniques. But these texts make you think. And another very important point for my perception: most of the texts are interesting to read not only immediately, but also when returning after a few months. There is no immediacy. After all, poetry should not be like pies that are good while they are hot. Yes, you have to think when reading. And the perception of these texts requires the reader to have a certain preparation, a certain “baggage” behind him.
