This book is the second part of a trilogy dedicated to the history of Kievan Rus. The novel was first published by the Kuibyshev Book Publishing House in 1989, and a year later it became a bibliographic rarity. The first part of the trilogy was published twice, the second time with a significant circulation. The events of the novel “Arrows of Perun” also date back to the reign of the Grand Duke of Kyiv Svyatoslav Igorevich - the mid-60s of the 10th century. The author, in artistic form, dynamically reveals a complex picture of the growth and formation of a united Russian state, its diplomacy and military clashes with the powerful Khazar Khaganate, difficult relationships with Byzantium and Volga-Kama Bulgaria.
