The monograph is devoted to the current problem of people's unequal opposition to the creation of the Stalinist empire of violence and fear. It shows the tragic events of intense political struggle and the physical destruction of the best representatives of the nation: prominent statesmen, intellectuals, workers and peasants. The study is based on declassified regulations and investigative files from the archives of the FSB of Russia, documents from the personal fund of J.V. Stalin ( RGASPI), government regulations and orders from GARF and other archives. The book is intended for a wide range of readers who are not indifferent to the difficult stages of our history.
