The authors of this book are the creators of a powerful Western intelligence system directed against the USSR. Allen Dulles served as chief of station for the U.S. Office of Strategic Services during World War II and later served as director of the CIA (1953 to 1961). He is known as the author of the famous “Dulles Doctrine,” where a plan was developed for the destruction of the USSR with the help of external and internal agents, as well as ideological sabotage. During World War II, Reinhard Gehlen was one of the leaders of German intelligence on the Eastern Front. After the war, he created the Gehlen Organization, later transformed into the German Federal Intelligence Service (BND). Together with the CIA, the Gehlen Organization carried out extensive intelligence and sabotage activities against the Soviet Union. This book presents the memoirs of Dulles and Gehlen, which contain details of large-scale operations of the United States and West Germany in the 1950s - 1960s. as part of the implementation of the “Dulles Doctrine”. We are talking not only about intelligence, which in the West is called “dirty work for gentlemen,” but also about political actions designed to “put the pressure on Russia.”
