In his new book, Vladimir Kantor, writer, Doctor of Philosophy, head of the International Laboratory for Research on Russian-European Intellectual Dialogue at the National Research University Higher School of Economics (NRU-HSE) and full professor at the School of Philosophy of the same university, gives a unique master -class, showing that literature and philosophical reflection do not contradict each other at all. One of the author’s favorite ideas is that only in a philosophical context does a literary text become intelligible. In this book, he tried to realize this understanding of culture.
