This book is dedicated to fairly little-known German combat vehicles created already during the Second World War. Most of them were intended for reconnaissance and communications, a smaller part - to support infantry, as well as to perform other special tasks. Structurally, their suspension, and many other units, were similar to the famous German Tiger and Panther tanks, so the entire family could well be called small “Tigers”. However, this technique was not destined to play any significant role in the great confrontation. The German tank industry was having difficulty coping with major orders and was no longer able to produce highly specialized equipment in large quantities.
