Imagine an alternate present in which the Moon is habitable. The first human landing on this satellite was the first contact. Since then, the two worlds have lived and interacted. A constant connection has been established between them. But flights remain economically ineffective. The inhabitants of the Moon can only use the ideas and scientific developments of earthlings. They are fascinated by our cinema and our literature. They are interested in our religion, which ultimately becomes the cornerstone for them. Fanatic followers of the faith appear, the number of which is growing and multiplying. “Persecution of witches” begins - those who do not share the religion of the new faith. The main character is interested in the literature of earthlings and tries to stay apart. She is divorced, has a daughter and a lover. She tries to stay away from the followers of the new faith, but they do not tolerate those who abstain.
