The Paddington Bear series A not very famous writer named Michael Bond came across an unwanted toy bear in a large London store. Bond bought a bear and named it Paddington, after the nearby train station. And then several stories appeared about the adventures of a funny bear who arrived from Deep Peru straight to Paddington Station. This is how a new literary symbol of England arose - books about him have been translated into forty languages, there is a monument to him at that very station, and tourists are eagerly buying up teddy bears in blue coats. Paddington's adventures have been going on for over fifty years - he's such a bear! Where he is, there is never a dull moment. Selected tales of Paddington Bear from the first three collections.
