Sergei Mikhailovich Solovyov (1885–1942), “Solovyov Jr.,” grandson of the historian and nephew of the poet-philosopher, is known to modern readers mainly as the author of “Memoirs,” written in the 1930s. Meanwhile, his poetic legacy is great and worthy: before us is not just a poet of the Silver Age, but a symbolist poet of the first rank. This edition includes five lifetime books by S. M. Solovyov: “Flowers and Incense”, “April”, “The Princess’s Flower Garden”, “Return to the Father’s House”, “Crurifragium”, as well as the poems “The Virgin of Nazareth” and “Saul and David". The publication of Solovyov's poetic works fills one of the most serious gaps in the history of Silver Age literature. Notes: 1. The digitizer is grateful to Alexey Sobolev for the book he donated to S.M. Solovyova.2. The section “Poems from different years” consists of poems found on the Internet and other sources and is not available in the paper edition.
