Alf Preisen is a Norwegian writer, poet, composer, in whose homeland there is not only his museum: nearby there is a monument to one of his most famous heroines - the Old Lady - baby - a teaspoon. This old woman is an ordinary one, but she can suddenly turn - not of her own free will, but completely unexpectedly for herself too - into a crumb the size of a teaspoon. Tales about the Old Lady are combined into cycles and are intended primarily for the youngest readers. In these fairy tales, Preussen helps the little reader get comfortable in a world that is too big for a child, where everything is scary, interesting and unusual.
