The team of authors, taking into account the experience of teaching a course in theoretical economics in higher educational institutions of the country, including on the basis of the specified textbook, using the research of domestic economists, as well as the development of economic reforms in Russia for the period after the publication of the specified textbook, prepared a new version of the textbook “Economic Theory”, a new edition taking into account changes in Russian reality. According to the authors of this textbook, taking into account Russian reality is not only the use of domestic material as illustrations of theoretical principles, but also the consideration of typically Russian situations in the national economy. At the same time, this also takes into account the style of presentation of the material to which students of Russian higher educational institutions and independent students of economic theory are accustomed.
