The basis for the creation of this book was the materials of open clinical discussions resumed in June 1996 under the auspices of the Independent Psychiatric Association of Russia. They are regularly held at joint seminars of psychiatrists, doctors of other specialties and clinical psychologists, often in the presence of students from medical universities and psychological faculties.
