The distant future...Former officer of the "Daga" unit Roger Vuynacek leads the life of a quiet drunkard. He has a minimum pension, he works part-time at the law firm Koehler and Young - he doesn’t get much, but he has enough for a drink. However, specialists are never former, and as long as the “office” for which Vuynacek once worked exists, they will not leave him alone. One day, in a bar, a former colleague sat up to him and offered to return, promising enrollment in the staff, control over the residency, a special communications network and a “red card” with an unlimited loan. And all this for work that, in the jargon of the special services, is modestly called “transportation.” Vuynacek leaves his home planet, setting off towards a new, unknown reality...
