People have always been interested in all sorts of mysteries of the past, with which the centuries-old history of mankind is full. Some of these mysteries live for more than one millennium and at the same time are constantly acquiring new facts, sometimes radically changing our understanding of many events. And it happens that myths and legends that exist in the historical memory of many peoples, after deep and comprehensive study, become the basis for developing scientific hypotheses and versions when solving mysteries of the distant past. Thus, at the end of the 19th century, educated people looked with a condescending smile at those who took seriously unscientific nonsense, as they believed, telling about the Flood. And today scientists confidently say that a similar cataclysm took place in the past of our planet. The even more skeptical 20th century considered the stories of Chinese chroniclers about Shi Huangdi, the first emperor of the Celestial Empire, and his grandiose burial to be a myth, and in the second half of the same century, humanity became convinced of their existence. Well, myth sometimes becomes reality, and reality turns out to be a myth. This has already happened, and this will happen again...
