Robert Gu, a former professor and world-famous poet, is snatched from the clutches of death by the latest technology. Alzheimer's disease is defeated, he is young again, but the gift of writing poetry has been lost. Robert and others like him are forced to re-settle in a world augmented by digital reality, where people wear clothes stitched with microchips so as not to leave virtuality for a minute. In an attempt to return his gift, Robert finds himself as a pawn in the game of a brilliant hacker and several intelligence agencies fighting terrorists.
