In my collected works about the Great Patriotic War, I tried to once again touch military history and hear the voices of those who remained at the front forever. As in previous collections, in my poems I talk with those who went through all the horrors of the war, but could not find their way home. This is a fundamentally new format of military poetry - a dialogue with a bygone generation, thanks to which historical memory is preserved. This is a kind of connection with the war, living history. When creating this collection, I was inspired by stories about dead and missing front-line soldiers, including family stories about heroes who are still awaited at home. I sincerely believe that my works will give hope to all those who who does not know where their grandfathers and great-grandfathers laid their heads.
