Ritual murders were known among various peoples in ancient times, but they became especially widespread among secret Jewish sects. The Russian Orthodox Church recognizes the existence of ritual murders committed by savage sects for religious reasons. Russian writer V.I. Dahl personally knew in the Western Russian province a scientist and educated Jewish doctor, who in a frank conversation, face to face, admitted that the accusation of Jews in ritual crimes is “without a doubt, well-founded”, that there are “Jews who, in their fanaticism, encroach on such an outrageous crime." However, this same Jew told Dahl that this is not a strictly Jewish ritual, but “an invention of the degenerates of humanity.” This is how Dahl himself looked at the ritual murders committed by Jews. This position of the Russian writer is shared by the author of this book.
