"Star Empire" is a continuation of the "Sea Wolf" series, the story of the Voronezh nuclear submarine in 1942. In this world, Victory came in 1944, and the USSR is much stronger - in 1955 a satellite was already going into orbit, and Stalin (who did not die in March 1953) is watching a film report from the Zvezdny cosmodrome. And just the day before, the Soviet Tsar Bomb of one hundred megatons was detonated at a test site on Novaya Zemlya. But we can remember that in our history, the USSR in 1991 had enormous military power, which did not save us from “perestroika”. So what did our country lack - and will it be possible to avoid this in another world?
