“The Northern Gambit” is the sixth book in the “Sea Wolf” series, a continuation of the story of the Voronezh nuclear submarine in 1942. The history of the Great Patriotic War, in comparison with what we know, has already changed so much that the Western allies are beginning to fear the post-war growth of the power of the USSR. The European Reich is still strong. But the advance of the Soviet Army can no longer be restrained, although the Anglo-Americans are trying to play their game, enter Europe first - in order to dictate the terms of the post-war world.
