The young men Varo and Brostek, having successfully completed the hunt - the traditional test for the right to be considered a man - return to their native village and almost lose their minds from horror: their fellow villagers and relatives were either brutally killed, or disappeared without a trace, their houses were burned. Having discovered the autograph of the knife people on a charred log, Varo and Brostek vowed revenge. The storyteller Magara, who owns an amazing embroidered panel that can predict the future, comes to their aid. While the men fight with the henchmen of the knife people with weapons, the girl goes to the Labyrinth of Shadows and enters into battle with the leader of the brutal killers, a sorcerer who intends to conquer the whole world with his evil will.
