The action of the detective novel “Semi-parure” takes place in Kyiv in 2000. The main characters are Katyusha Kovalenko and Igor Gorokhov, students of one of the Kyiv universities. Yielding to the persuasion of her bosom friend Igor, Katyusha tries to find his beloved Ellochka. To do this, she will have to visit Ellochka’s ex-husband. The visit ends somewhat unusually, and an old photograph with a mysterious inscription falls into the girl’s hands. Trying to satisfy her natural curiosity, Katya tries to unravel its meaning and finds herself drawn into the search for a unique precious set by a very famous jeweler from the early twentieth century. Unfortunately, curiosity threatens the life of the heroine herself. The search leads to an unexpected conclusion - the disappearance of the jewelry is connected with a dark history that also affected her ancestors. Having experienced many adventures, the girl will unravel all the mysteries associated with the jewelry, and with her new virtual friend, and with the man of her dreams.
