And today more than 30 nations live here: Ukrainians, Hungarians, Slovaks, Romanians, Russians, Gypsies, Germans, Jews, Poles, Bulgarians, etc... The region borders on Slovakia, Hungary, Poland, Romania. All this led to the fact that Transcarpathian cuisine over the centuries has absorbed all the best, all the “tasty” of these peoples.
