What is a myth? What place does it occupy in the life of a modern person? Do we need myths? Evgeny Golovin’s book “Mythomania” not only gives new, unexpected answers to these questions, but also poses new riddles. Ancient Greece and the Renaissance, alchemy and magic, Kabbalah and Freemasonry - myths of different eras and traditions replace each other as if in a kaleidoscope: from Antiquity we suddenly move to “modern mythology”, from folklore and medieval treatises - to Western European poetry of the 19th century.
