Christopher Reich was born in Tokyo, educated in the USA, worked for several years in large Swiss banks in Geneva and Zurich; He has been a professional writer since 1995. Reich is the author of seven novels, one of the best modern masters of the action-packed spy detective story, whose books have been compared to the best works of such masters as Robert Ludlum, Frederick Forsythe and Tom Clancy. The hero of the novel, Thomas Bolden, is a successful thirty-year-old banker on Wall Street, but a daring attack night robbers makes him remember the half-forgotten skills of street fights. From that moment on, Bolden's life unexpectedly turns into a nightmare and an obsession: he is wanted by the police (for a murder he did not commit) and militants of a secret political organization (for the fact that he, unknowingly, poses a threat to their far-reaching plans). The reasons, as often happens, lie in the past. Bolden's fate is strangely intertwined with the actions of the radical youth of the 1960s and with the activities of a powerful behind-the-scenes organization of “patriots”, the origins of which were, perhaps, the Founding Fathers of the United States themselves! Reich's hero will have to make amazing discoveries and, perhaps, uncover a dangerous conspiracy. But the main thing is that Thomas Bolden has to find out the truth about himself.
