Pent A. You can get used to each other without words, it doesn’t take long at all: Stories / Anetta Pent; Per. with him. - M.: Text, 2011. - 157 [3] p.
ISBN 978-5-7516-0988-7
In terms of the scale of talent, A. Pent can be compared with Muriel Spark . Her frank, lyrical prose is unlikely to leave anyone indifferent. Pent’s short story was already published in the collection “Passing Borders,” dedicated to the fall of the Berlin Wall, but her talent is truly revealed only in this book. In 2002, Pent became the laureate of the Ingeborg Bachmann Prize, in 2009 she was awarded the Italo Svevo Prize.
Anette Pent's language achieves deep, true laconicism, vibrates from internal tension, from articulated silence.
