Fishing in the Karelian forests for a newly disabled person, who recently had half of his right foot amputated, continues in July 1941. Germans, Finns, local policemen, captured Red Army soldiers, children of a Soviet general and the main character, frantically rushing through the aforementioned forests. And there is no end in sight to this. The task that the main character has taken upon himself is such that it would be easier to kill himself on the nearest rock. He needs to save two families of command personnel who were captured by German rangers of one of the regiments of the SS “Totenkopf” formations. We have to get out. Fortunately, our contemporary ended up in the body of a border guard sergeant, and does not hobble, as before, on his one and a half legs.
