In order not to give himself away, he pushes his previous experience into the farthest corners of his memory. And when his soul after death was reformatted like a hard drive - for reuse - the surviving memory was given to a new embryo. This soul, full of inhuman knowledge about the world and people, finds itself imprisoned - first in the womb of a new mother, then in the body of a helpless baby , and so on until the age of twelve, when Jonas (the same biblical Jonah from the belly of the whale) runs away with his shepherd from his parental home in search of that erased post-war history, that secret biography of the simple Andersen, who turned out to be far from simple. Charles Lewinsky (b. 1946) is a recognized Swiss classicist, playwright and screenwriter, author of several novels known throughout the world.
