The proposed book aims to introduce readers to the traditions and legends associated with the activities of the closest disciples of Jesus Christ, which are described in various apocryphal (i.e., not recognized by the Church) acts. The Apocrypha was created after the writings included in the New Testament. Many of these acts of the apostles are a kind of literary novella, often full of the most fantastic episodes. The book uses quotes from both the Synodal Translation of the Bible and translations from the Greek edition made by the author of the book. Source:
