"You see, I'm kind of strange, crazy, probably. I want them to really laugh. In reality..." These are the words of the main character of the story "Today and Everyday" by Victor Dragunsky, a clown, about the audience for whom he goes out to the arena. But, I think, they can also be attributed to Dragunsky’s readers, who, rereading his stories and feuilletons for the hundredth time, laugh again and again - sincerely, cheerfully laugh. But Viktor Dragunsky knows how to not only laugh and make people laugh: in his stories, in many of Deniska’s stories, there is sadness, thoughtfulness, and bitterness. And in this the author is no less sincere than in his desire to make you laugh and please with an interesting plot.
