The cosmonaut in the story “The Voice of the Mother” by Vasily Berezhny (Mother's Voice , 1972) before the start said goodbye to his old mother, who flew to him in Lunopolis. She told him about the new things that happened in their village, about how she was waiting for him to go on vacation to his homeland, about when she would see him again. Her son also told her a lot of interesting things, the events of the last years of his life. There was only one thing he could not tell her - that he was flying away for the rest of his life and his mother would never see him again.
