"Peace" is a comedy by the ancient Greek playwright Aristophanes, which is deservedly considered one of his greatest works. In this play, the author ironically and satirically mocks the war and the desire for victory at any cost. The main character, Kozhelup (representative of ancient couriers), who has gone through enormous difficulties for many years, decides to finally get rid of the war and bring peace to the earth. The play is full of sharp dialogues, humor and deep satirical undertones, which makes it relevant even today. "Peace" is an excellent example of an ancient comedy that remains relevant in any era, reminding us of the importance of maintaining peace in the world.
