"Cratyl. In search of truth" is a philosophical dialogue of Plato, in which the question of the nature of language and its relationship with reality is raised. In this work, the author expresses his views on the question of whether it is possible to reflect the objective truth in language, or whether language corresponds purely to the things it names. The dialogue presents the concepts of Heraclitus, who considered language invented and artificial, and Empedocles, who considered language perfect and corresponding to reality. The book "Kratyl. In search of truth" leaves the reader with a deeper understanding of the complex issue of the relationship between language, thinking and the true nature of the world.
