"Sganarelle, or the False Man" is a comedy play by Moliere, which tells about the adventures of the main character, who loses his wife because of his own emptiness and stupidity. Sganarel considers himself smarter than everyone and is convinced of his own infallibility, but in reality he is narcissistic and frivolous. In addition, the play ridicules the stereotypes and conventions of the society of that time, and also shows the senselessness and stupidity of human actions and deeds. "Sganarel, or the False Man" is a vivid example of classic French humor, which still remains relevant and funny for readers around the world.
