"Le Barbuier's Envy" is a comedy play by the outstanding French playwright Moliere. This work reproduces typical scenarios of jealousy, misunderstandings and intrigues that are characteristic of interpersonal relationships. The main character, le Barbuier, is subject to constant attempts to provoke his wickedly unfriendly wife, but without success. It would seem that the situation is hopeless, but thanks to lively dialogues and unexpected turns of events, the author creates a deep satirical view of human nature and its flaws. A comedic handful of thoughts that are sometimes more appropriate than serious thoughts.
