The book "The State of the Jews: An Attempt at a Modern Solution of the Jewish Question" is a political manifesto by the Austrian publicist Theodor Herzl, which was published in 1896. In his book, Herzl outlined the idea of creating a national state for Jews in order to protect them from anti-Semitism and improve their position in the world. The author argues for the need to create such a state where Jews can live in safety and dignity, freely develop their culture and traditions. The book "Jewish State" became an important charge for modern Zionism and influenced the further development of Jewish nationalism. In his work, Herzl visionarily predicted the creation of the state of Israel, which became a reality much later and became the place where the Jewish people found their long-awaited promised land.
