"The Bedbug" is a drama written by Carl Lampert Marlatt in 1916. The book reflects the social problems and realities of its time through an ironic and acute view of the life of the working class. The main character, Andrii Popelyushko, tries to adapt to new realities after the revolution of 1917, but fails to abandon old habits and beliefs, which leads to comic situations and a break with reality. "Trutivus" is a deep psychological portrait of a person who is forced to compete with a world where other values and ideals are preferred.
