"L'Odyssée" or "The Odyssey" is an epic poem by the ancient Greek poet Homer, which tells about the adventures of Odysseus after the end of the Trojan War. The main character, the clever and cunning Odysseus, overcomes many trials and dangers to return home to his faithful wife Penelope and son Telemachus. Along the way, he meets monsters, gods and mortals, enveloping the reader in incredible adventures and high moral trials. "Odyssey" is a masterpiece of world literature, which wittily reveals human flaws and strengths, as well as eternal values that help the hero overcome all obstacles on the way home.
