"Huszonegy novella" (Twenty-one novellas) is a collection of Hungarian writer Lajos Biro, a part of which the author created between 1910 and 1922. These stories reflect various aspects of the life of Hungarian society at that time - from domestic dramas to political conflicts. The author masterfully incorporates various themes: love, war, losses and joys, the bitterness of revolutionary changes. Due to the variety of genres and the depth of psychological portraits of the heroes, each novel becomes a separate creative canvas that inspires the reader's thoughts and feelings. "Huszonegy novella" is an excellent example of Hungarian literature of the beginning of the 20th century, which deepens the understanding of Hungarian culture and history.
