Shakuna shastra (the science of signs, omens) is one of the branches of Jyotish (Vedic Indian astrology), with the help of which an astrologer can predict the future or give an answer to a question of interest, simply by observing changes in space. Omens may include phenomena such as halos, rainbows, lightning, false suns, the behavior of birds and animals, meteorites, comets, etc. The book also includes chapters on Rahu, Ketu, various types of solar and lunar eclipses and their results. The book will help the thoughtful reader to become more aware of the surrounding space and his inner state, deepen his practice and, accordingly, improve the quality of his predictions. The basis of this book was the chapters of an ancient and very authoritative treatise on Vedic Astrology - Brihat Samhita by Varahamihira (VI century AD).
